▸ Role / Mission
You build and extend ServiceNow solutions for enterprise clients — configuration, custom development on both client and server side, integrations, and rollout. Typically ITSM, CSM, HRSD, SecOps or ITOM, depending on the project.
If you're medior, this is a step up in project complexity and module breadth — the kind you rarely get on a single in-house instance. If you're senior, you get a real say in solution design and the chance to lead delivery on client engagements. You report to the ServiceNow Practice Lead.
Twelve months in, you've delivered at least two client implementations end to end, added new certifications, and you're the person the team comes to for a specific module or integration pattern.
▸ Key Responsibilities
- Configure and extend ServiceNow across modules — business rules, UI policies, client scripts, Flow Designer
- Build custom functionality in JavaScript and the Glide API, client-side and server-side
- Design and build integrations with enterprise systems — REST/SOAP, Scripted REST APIs
- Turn business requirements into technical designs and working solutions
- Write technical specs, support testing and get releases live without surprises
- Advise project teams and clients on what the platform can do — and what it shouldn't be forced to do
▸ What This Role Is NOT
- Not helpdesk or L1/L2 support — you build, you don't work a ticket queue
- Not a solo gig — architects, process consultants and project governance are around you
- Not a side topic — ServiceNow is the core of what this practice does
▸ Operating Model
Remote or hybrid — your choice. Fully remote works; if you prefer the office, it's in Prague. Either way, you come in for onboarding, team meetups and project kickoffs. Standard business hours, no shift work, flexible hours with core time 9:00–15:00.
Agile delivery in international project teams with senior ServiceNow experts, process consultants and architects. English is the working language — Czech isn't required.
Requirements
▸ What Matters Most
- Hands-on ServiceNow experience — as an admin, a developer, or both. You know the platform from real projects, not from a weekend course.
- Solid JavaScript and web basics — HTML, CSS, XML, AJAX, REST/SOAP APIs, plus relational databases (MySQL, Oracle or similar).
- You understand ITSM — how IT service management and operations actually run, and what your code solves for the business. ITIL knowledge helps.
- English for everyday client work — written and spoken. You've worked in sprints before.

- ServiceNow certifications — CSA, CAD, CIS (ITSM, CSM, HRSD)
- IntegrationHub, Flow Designer, Scripted REST
- Several ServiceNow modules under your belt
- Other ITSM tools (BMC, Cherwell, Landesk, HP)
- AngularJS or a modern front-end framework
