ERP Security & Access Specialist (Oracle Fusion)

ERP security is not just role provisioning. It's the layer that makes sure one person can't order, approve, and pay — all on their own.

A major construction and development group has just rolled out Oracle Fusion across Central Europe. Now comes the harder part: making sure the security layer is actually owned — not just kept running. You'll have a senior Oracle Fusion colleague from the international team as backup and sparring partner. In 12 months, you should be able to cover for them.

This isn't for someone who waits for tickets. Not for an architect who wants to redesign everything. This is for someone who understands SoD, designs roles with intent, and knows that compliance is not optional.

About our client

This is one of the world's largest construction and development groups — active across Europe and North America, 30,000+ employees, consistently ranked in the global top 20. Buildings, infrastructure, urban regeneration. Projects that shape how cities look for decades.

At the core is an Oracle Fusion ERP covering the entire Central Europe region — Financials, HCM, and Supply Chain across multiple countries. The IT organisation is international, with governance in the UK. The culture is Scandinavian: open, direct, and flat by enterprise standards.

This is the next step in how their IT is evolving. Maybe that step involves you.

Oracle Fusion is live. Roles, access rights, and SoD rules were set during implementation — but that's not the same as long-term ownership. Now it needs someone who actually owns this layer.

The goal is to build real ERP security competence in the Czech Republic — connected to the international team, but with real ownership on the local side. The team is growing. This is a new position, not a replacement hire.

Job description

Role / Mission:
Your mission is simple: make sure people in Oracle Fusion have exactly the access they need. Nothing more. Nothing less.
That means designing and maintaining roles, running SoD analyses, managing user lifecycle, and working with business and IT to turn requirements into configurations that actually work.

You report to the Head of ERP. You're one of the core members of an internationally distributed EMEA team — architects, analysts, developers, and support. A senior Oracle Fusion colleague is there not to watch over you, but to step in when things get tricky.

You help define the security rules for the region, not just execute them.
The impact is direct. One bad role setup or a missed offboarding creates a gap in controls. A good setup passes audits without drama.

After 12 months, this is what good looks like: you know the full access map for the region, you run SoD analyses independently, your documentation is current, and an audit doesn't catch you off guard.

Key Responsibilities:
* Design, implement, and maintain roles, responsibilities, and access controls in Oracle Fusion (Financials, HCM, SCM)
* Run SoD analyses and resolve role conflicts — understanding what you're configuring, not just clicking through
* Manage the full user lifecycle: onboarding, changes, offboarding — accurately and on time
* Configure advanced controls in Oracle Risk Management Cloud (notifications, model controls, perspectives, state management)
* Prepare documentation for internal and external audits (SOX, GDPR) and actively support audit activities
* Keep security process documentation current — not just before audit season
* Work with business process owners and IT to translate requirements into technical configurations
* Escalate issues to Oracle Support Portal when they go beyond what the team can handle internally

What This Role Is NOT:
* Not a helpdesk or ticket queue — you don't just click approve, you actually understand what you're granting
* Not a systems architecture role — overall system design is with a more senior colleague in the international team
* Not infrastructure or network security — this is the Oracle Fusion application layer, full stop
* Not a short-term or transitional position — stable, long-term role in the core IT team

Operating Model:
Working language is English — you'll use it daily with the internationally distributed EMEA ERP team (architects, analysts, developers, and support; governance and senior leadership in the UK). Czech Republic, 1–2 days/week on-site — otherwise remote. Reporting line: Head of ERP.

Requirements

What Matters Most:
Three things that matter:
* ERP security background, hands-on — 2–4 years working with roles, access rights, or identity management in an enterprise ERP. Oracle Fusion is ideal. SAP GRC or another ERP security background works — you'll pick up the Oracle context.
* SoD is not just a term you know — you can explain why a specific role combination is a problem and what the actual risk is. You understand SOX and GDPR beyond just ticking boxes.
* You think before you click — when a role request comes in, you ask why before you approve. That's it.

Oracle Risk Management Cloud, scripting skills, and direct audit experience are strong advantages — not hard requirements. The right mindset and ERP security background will take you the rest of the way.

Nice to Have:
* Direct experience with Oracle Fusion Applications or Oracle Risk Management Cloud
* Scripting or automation skills (Python, Shell) for streamlining repetitive security tasks
* Hands-on SOX audit preparation or support experience
* Oracle or relevant IAM certification

These are nice to have — not hard filters. The right ERP security background and mindset will take you the rest of the way.

Offer & Terms

* Direct access to a senior Oracle Fusion expert in the international team — in year one, that's worth more than any cert
* A real path to owning ERP security in Central Europe — this is where things are heading, and this role is part of it
* International setup with local decision-making — you're not just a distant node in someone else's team
* No startup chaos — space to actually do the job properly

WHAT YOU GET:
* CZK 80,000–90,000/month, permanent contract
* Annual bonus 8% + Employee Ownership Programme (shares)
* Czech Republic | 1–2 days/week on-site — otherwise remote
* English language classes + internal training and development programmes
* International exchange programme + mentoring initiatives
* AI tools are part of the daily workflow — not just a slide in a presentation
* Life insurance, private medical care, Multisport, cafeteria, leisure subsidies
* Employee volunteering programme

This is the world's largest ServiceNow professional services partner. Not one of the largest — the largest. Over 5,500 ServiceNow specialists globally, more than 5,000 certifications and accreditations across the platform. When ServiceNow itself needs a reference implementation, these are the people they call. The company is a global top-5 technology consulting firm with over 2,100 professionals in the Czech Republic alone. Their Prague-based center delivers the full lifecycle — analysis, design, build, and run — across ServiceNow, cloud, intelligent automation, and AI. They work with Fortune 500 clients across 40+ industries: automotive, healthcare, fintech, retail, energy, public sector. The projects are real, the clients are large, and the platform exposure is as broad as it gets. Why This Role Exists Now: The ServiceNow practice in the Czech Republic is scaling. The company keeps winning new implementation and transformation projects across Europe, and Prague is becoming a delivery hub for the region. This isn't a backfill. The company is growing continuously and needs to scale its ServiceNow capability for dozens of active projects across Europe. They need senior people who can either own the architecture on complex engagements — multi-module transformations, legacy ITSM migrations, greenfield ITOM or CSM rollouts for Fortune 500 clients — or take charge of growing and leading the local technical team. The demand is real, the projects are signed, and the company is investing in both directions. What Matters Most: Three things that define whether you're the right person: — Deep ServiceNow expertise — at least 5 years. You've done architecture, development, or technical leadership on the platform. You know ITSM, ITOM, CSM, or other major modules from the inside. You've designed solutions, not just configured them. ServiceNow Certified Administrator and/or Certified Application Developer is expected. — You operate above the code level. Whether your strength is designing complex architectures or building and leading a team — you've moved beyond pure development into a role where you influence outcomes at a higher level. For the Manager path: experience managing or mentoring a technical team. For the Architect path: proven ability to own end-to-end solution design on complex engagements. — You bridge business and technology. You can sit in a room with a client's VP of IT Operations and translate their problems into a ServiceNow solution. You understand what the business needs, not just what the platform can do. Strong communication skills in English are essential. Technical depth: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, REST/SOAP APIs, relational databases (MySQL, Oracle, or similar). You've done system integrations and you understand how enterprise platforms connect. Nice to Have: — Multiple ServiceNow certifications beyond CSA/CAD — CIS-ITSM, CIS-CSM, CIS-HRSD, or platform-level certs — Experience with other ITSM platforms (BMC, Landesk, Cherwell, Heat, Axios, HP) — ITIL v3 or ITIL 4 certification — Background in enterprise architecture or cloud platforms — Agile delivery experience (Scrum, Kanban) in a consulting or multi-client environment — University degree in an IT-related field These expand your profile but won't make or break the decision. The three core things above are what matter.Role / Mission: This role has two possible shapes depending on your profile and preference: Path A — Architect. You own the technical quality of ServiceNow solutions. You design scalable architectures, define implementation standards, make technical decisions on complex projects, and act as the senior technical voice toward clients and internal stakeholders. Think multi-module ITSM/CSM transformations, migrations from legacy platforms like BMC or Cherwell to ServiceNow, or greenfield ITOM rollouts — all for large enterprise clients. You're hands-on when it matters — reviewing designs, solving integration challenges, stepping into critical delivery situations. You contribute to implementation across the full lifecycle: system design, configuration, custom development, technical consulting, testing, and rollout support. Path B — Manager. You build and lead the Czech ServiceNow team — developers, architects, consultants, analysts, and fellow managers. You recruit, onboard, mentor, and set performance objectives. You oversee business operations for the local practice, collaborate with ServiceNow leads across Europe, and ensure delivery quality stays high across dozens of concurrent engagements. You still contribute technically — but your primary impact is through the team you build and the standards you set. Both paths report to the European ServiceNow Practice Lead. You'll work closely with solution architects, process consultants, project managers, and developers across multiple countries. After 12 months: on the Architect path, you'll have delivered architecture on at least two major client engagements and established yourself as the go-to technical authority for complex ServiceNow implementations. On the Manager path, you'll have grown the Prague team, established local delivery standards, and shaped how the Czech practice operates. Either way — you'll be a name people know in the European practice. Key Responsibilities: Shared across both paths: — Set and follow implementation standards and technical best practices for the ServiceNow practice — Manage communication with client stakeholders and internal management teams — Provide senior-level expertise on the ServiceNow platform — to clients, project teams, and the wider organization — Collaborate with ServiceNow teams across Europe — share knowledge, align on standards, contribute to the global practice — Stay ahead of the platform — evaluate new ServiceNow releases, features, and innovations for client applicability — Continuously grow your certifications and platform knowledge Architect path — additionally: — Design scalable, high-performing ServiceNow solutions — system architecture, data model, integrations, and platform strategy — Technically manage the delivery of ServiceNow projects end-to-end — from system design and configuration through deployment and post-go-live support — Introduce and implement ServiceNow innovations into client solutions — Prepare technical specifications and support testing and rollout Manager path — additionally: — Lead and grow the Czech ServiceNow development team — recruiting, onboarding, mentoring, and performance management — Oversee business operations for the local practice and align with the European leadership — Guide junior and medior developers — share knowledge, review work, and help the team grow technically What This Role Is NOT: — Not a pure people management role with no technical involvement — even the Manager path requires platform knowledge and technical credibility — Not a junior or medior position relabeled as "architect" — this requires genuine seniority and the ability to own outcomes — Not a pre-sales or business development role — your focus is delivery excellence (Architect) or team building (Manager), not pipeline generation Operating Model: Mostly remote. The company supports home-based work as the default — not as an exception. Occasional in-person days in Prague for onboarding, team collaboration, or project kickoffs. Standard business hours, no shift work. Working language: English for client-facing work, documentation, and cross-European collaboration; Czech day-to-day within the local team. Travel is optional — primarily within Europe for project kickoffs, practice meetings, or client workshops when needed. International teams, multilingual environment. If this sounds like the kind of role you've been looking for — a chance to lead, architect, and build something — reach out. Send your CV or LinkedIn profile to or reach out directly via linkedin.com/in/jirisoljak. Throughout the hiring process, you'll work with a senior IT recruiter who understands the ServiceNow market and speaks your language — technically and professionally. No fluff, no runaround. Interview process: — Intro call with SITEQ recruiter — 20–30 minutes, we explain the role, client context, and expectations — Two rounds with the client — first with the practice leadership, second focused on technical depth and team fit — Offer No unnecessary rounds. No weeks of silence. You'll hear back within 24 hours — every time. Open to candidates of any nationality already residing in the Czech Republic. The company supports blue card and work permit sponsorship for non-EU professionals based in CZ. No relocation package is provided — you need to be here already.
