The company keeps winning new implementation and transformation projects, and they need more developers who can deliver. This isn't a backfill — it's expansion driven by demand. If you've been in a smaller ServiceNow team where you were the only developer, or in an environment where the projects were repetitive — this is a different scale. Multiple clients, multiple modules, senior architects and process consultants working alongside you. The learning curve is steep in the best way.WHAT MATTERS MOST Three things that actually matter for this role: — You've worked on ServiceNow professionally — configuration, development, or both. You know the platform from the inside — not from a weekend course. Ideally as a System Administrator or Application Developer, but equivalent hands-on experience counts. — You're solid in JavaScript and web technologies — HTML, CSS, XML, AJAX, REST/SOAP APIs. You understand how integrations work in practice, not just in theory. Experience with relational databases (MySQL, Oracle, or similar) is expected. — You understand ITSM and how enterprise processes work — you've seen how ServiceNow supports IT Service Management and Operations. ITIL knowledge is a strong plus. You don't just write code — you understand what it's solving for the business. Agile experience (Scrum, Kanban) is expected — you've worked in sprints, you know what a backlog looks like, and you're comfortable in self-organized teams. Strong communication skills in English — written and spoken. You'll work with international teams and clients. --- NICE TO HAVE — ServiceNow certifications: Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Application Developer (CAD), Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS-ITSM, CIS-CSM, CIS-HRSD), or others — Experience with other ITSM tools (BMC, Landesk, Cherwell, Heat, Axios, HP) — Knowledge of AngularJS or modern front-end frameworks — Experience with ServiceNow integrations via IntegrationHub, Flow Designer, or Scripted REST — Background in multiple ServiceNow modules (ITSM, CSM, HRSD, SecOps, ITOM) These are advantages, not filters. Day-to-day: system configuration, custom feature development (client-side and server-side), REST/SOAP API integrations, workflow design, technical specifications, testing, and rollout support. You'll work across projects for local and international clients, following established best practices and implementation standards. Reports to: ServiceNow Practice Lead. This is a role that suits both medior developers looking for a step up in project complexity and exposure — and senior developers who want a practice where ServiceNow is a strategic priority, not an afterthought. If you're senior, you'll have real influence on solution architecture and the opportunity to lead delivery on client engagements. The path from here goes to Associate Manager — and the company actively builds that progression. After 12 months: you'll have delivered at least two client implementations end-to-end, expanded your certification portfolio, and established yourself as a go-to person for specific ServiceNow modules or integration patterns within the team.
