About our client
Our client is an established international technology organization with over two decades of experience delivering complex digital systems within regulated financial services and high-demand transaction-driven environments.
The company designs, builds and operates large-scale financial technology platforms supporting mission-critical banking, payment and consumer finance operations across multiple international markets. Its systems power high-volume financial transactions and operate in compliance-intensive ecosystems requiring strong governance, operational resilience and scalable architecture.

• End-to-end integration across distributed financial environments
• Data platforms, advanced analytics and AI-enabled financial capabilities
• Cloud-native modernization of legacy financial systems
• Secure, resilient and compliance-driven infrastructure
The organization is currently undergoing a strategic evolution — transitioning from a predominantly delivery-driven structure toward a scalable, product-led financial technology model with stronger platform ownership and long-term innovation focus.
To support this transformation, a senior product leadership layer is being established.
Job description
As Head of Fintech Platform & Product Strategy, you will define and lead the next evolution of the company’s fintech platform portfolio.
This role sits within the senior leadership structure (positioned three levels below the Board) and plays a key part in shaping the organization’s long-term technology and product direction.
This is not about incremental improvement.
It is about redefining how fintech platforms are structured, owned, scaled and positioned across multiple international markets.
You will transform a historically service-driven setup into a product-led organization with clear ownership, platform thinking and strategic roadmap discipline.
Depending on your profile and strengths, the role may evolve in one of two strategic directions:
Direction A – Enterprise Platform Structuring
• Establishing clear product ownership and governance models
• Structuring a complex, multi-market fintech platform portfolio
• Aligning roadmap discipline across countries
• Building product foundations within regulated environments
Direction B – Platform Innovation & Scalable Growth
• Driving platformization and reusability across markets
• Embedding AI-enabled capabilities into fintech platforms
• Introducing monetization thinking and scalable product logic
• Bringing scale-up energy and innovation mindset into an established technology base
In both cases, you will:
• Define product strategy across digital financial platforms and scalable technology solutions operating within regulated markets
• Lead and develop a team of Product Managers
• Establish clear product governance and ownership frameworks
• Distinguish core platform capabilities from market-specific customization
• Align product evolution with long-term business objectives
• Act as the executive-level product voice across engineering, delivery and leadership
You will bring product clarity to technical complexity and help the organization move from delivering solutions to owning platforms.
Expected Transformation Outcomes:
Within the first 6–12 months, you will establish a clear and scalable product foundation that enables long-term platform growth across international markets.
Your impact should be visible in:
• A clearly defined and strategically structured fintech product portfolio
• A unified product roadmap aligned with long-term business direction
• Clear separation between reusable platform core and market-specific customization
• Strong product ownership culture embedded within engineering and delivery
• Tangible progress toward platform scalability and AI-enabled capabilities
Requirements
• 10+ years in product leadership within fintech, financial services or complex enterprise technology
• Experience leading Product Managers and building product organizations
• Exposure to lending, core financial systems or regulated environments
• Experience operating across multiple international markets
• Strong strategic mindset combined with pragmatic execution capability
• Ability to influence across engineering, delivery and executive leadership
• Comfort operating in transformation environments
We welcome candidates from both enterprise and scale-up/startup backgrounds, provided they have led product strategy at meaningful organizational scope.
Who this role is not for:
• Pure project or delivery managers without product ownership experience
• Operational backlog managers without strategic product responsibility
• Commercial sales leaders without platform strategy background
• Early-stage startup founders without experience in complex, multi-market or regulated environments

• 5 weeks of paid vacation + up to 5 days of personal leave
• Meal allowance
• Flexible working hours and hybrid work model
• Monthly contribution to pension insurance or long-term investment product
