The company has a long-term focus on building its own platforms for secure and reliable real-time transaction processing and continuously invests in modern technologies, including blockchain and cryptocurrencies.
The Prague team is responsible for key systems supporting payment authorization and processing. The new team member will play an important role in their management and further development.
Job description / Náplň práce
* Design, develop, deploy, and maintain scalable and resilient DevOps solutions in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
* Develop and validate system and infrastructure design for high availability, performance, and security.
* Implement and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform.
* Deploy and manage applications in Kubernetes (GKE) and hybrid environments.
* Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.).
* Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (Stackdriver, Prometheus, ELK, Grafana).
* Support and optimize deployed solutions, including troubleshooting and performance tuning.
* Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to enable DevSecOps practices.
* Document designed and deployed solutions, processes, and runbooks.
Requirements / Požadavky
* Fluent English (spoken and written) for effective communication with global teams.
* Hands-on expertise with GCP services (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, etc.).
* Strong proficiency in Terraform (modularization, state management, best practices).
* In-depth experience with Kubernetes (preferably GKE), including Helm, networking, scaling, and troubleshooting.
* Linux systems administration (package/user management, shell scripting, monitoring).
* Programming/scripting (Python, Go, or Bash).
* Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar).
* Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
* Proficiency with Git.
* Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, load balancing, VPNs, firewalls).
* Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
* Awareness of security best practices (IAM, RBAC, TLS, secrets management).
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams, with a positive learning mindset.
Nice to have:
* Google Cloud certifications (Associate/Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer).
* Multi-cloud or hybrid cloud experience.
* Service mesh (Istio, Linkerd) or advanced Kubernetes add-ons.
* Exposure to SRE practices.
