About our client

An international technology group with 30+ years in the market, 800+ professionals and offices across Central and Eastern Europe. They deliver projects in IT infrastructure, data centres, cloud and cybersecurity.

Its identity team designs and implements IAM/IdM solutions for customers – mainly on IdStory, alongside other identity tools.

▸ Why This Role Exists Now

Customer demand for identity security keeps growing, and the team is taking on more projects – so it's adding a consultant who can own them end to end.

Job description

▸ Role / Mission

You walk into a customer's environment, find out how identities and access actually work there, and turn that into a design. Then you build it and connect it to HR, Active Directory / Entra ID and business applications. You're the person the customer talks to – that's the core of the job. Experience from other identity platforms carries over – the concepts are the same, only the tool changes. If identity is new to you, the company trains you first.

After 12 months, this is what good looks like: you run IdStory projects on your own, from the first workshop to go-live, and customers ask for you by name.

▸ Key Responsibilities

- Run workshops with customers and map their identity processes – joiners, movers, leavers, roles, approvals
- Turn requirements into a design and documentation people actually use
- Implement and configure the IAM/IdM platform and build integrations with source and target systems
- Support solutions after go-live within SLA – part of the job, not the core of it
- Give technical input to presales – solution proposals, estimates, presentations

▸ What This Role Is NOT

- Not AD administration – you design identity solutions, you don't reset passwords
- Not a back-office role – you'll be in front of customers from your first months
- Not a SOC / monitoring role – you build identity solutions with customers

▸ Operating Model

Prague, hybrid – 2 days a week in the office, more during onboarding while you learn IdStory. The rest of the week you work from home or at customer sites – most customers are in and around Prague. No 24/7 on-call. You report to the head of the Network & Security division.

Requirements

▸ What Matters Most

- IAM/IdM experience – or a solid IT base to build on. Either you've worked with identity (provisioning, roles, identity lifecycle), or you know Active Directory / Entra ID, systems or integrations well and want to move into security. You'll be trained.
- You can talk to a customer – you've explained a solution, run a meeting or handled requirements yourself, not only through someone else. That can be from an integrator, consultancy, presales or working closely with the business.
- Technical curiosity – some of REST/SOAP APIs, SQL or scripting (PowerShell, Python, Groovy). Enough to connect systems; you don't need to be a developer.
- A new platform doesn't put you off – whether you're learning IdStory from scratch or adding it to tools you already know.

Fluent Czech or Slovak. English good enough for a normal working discussion.

▸ Nice to Have

- Hands-on experience with IdStory, SailPoint, One Identity, Entra ID, Okta, Ping Identity or similar
- Identity governance (access reviews, certifications, SoD)
- HR system integrations
- Basic Linux

Offer & Terms

- 70 000–100 000 CZK/month + 20 % annual bonus, permanent contract
- Contract (IČO) also possible – the B2B track requires a registered EU freelance/business licence
- Training into identity management and IdStory – also for people new to the field; fast growth for those who pick it up quickly
- Certification support – IAM/security certifications, vendor training budget
- Company laptop + phone
- Multisport card
- Employer pension contribution (DDS)
- HW/SW purchase allowance
- Language courses
- Extra days off
- Financial bonuses for life events (birth of a child, wedding)
- Company events, team buildings, sports activities

Open only to candidates eligible to work in the EU without visa sponsorship, residing in the Czech Republic long-term, with proficiency in Czech or Slovak.

Česká technologická společnost specializovaná na kybernetickou bezpečnost. Více než deset let poskytuje služby v oblasti bezpečnostního monitoringu, detekce hrozeb a provozu SOC. Pokrývá celý cyklus — od architektonického návrhu a implementace přes migrace až po dlouhodobý provoz a rozvoj bezpečnostních služeb. Tým čítá přibližně 25 lidí — experti, konzultanti, security specialisti, analytici, inženýři i developeři. Firma roste a hledá lidi, kteří dokážou spojit technické porozumění s konzultačním a delivery přesahem. Why This Role Exists Now: Tým Security Professional Services dnes tvoří jedenáct lidí napříč rolemi security analytiků, inženýrů a konzultantů. Vedoucí týmu aktuálně kombinuje konzultace se zákazníky, delivery řízení, pre-sales i koordinaci technického týmu. S rostoucím množstvím projektů už firma nehledá další čistě exekuční kapacitu — potřebuje člověka, který dokáže strukturovat delivery, zadávat práci a držet kvalitu výstupů napříč projekty. What Matters Most: - Silné IT hard skills — rozumíš infrastruktuře (sítě, servery, cloud, segmentace, zónování) a dokážeš ji posuzovat z pohledu bezpečnosti. - Schopnost převést byznysový požadavek do konkrétního technického zadání — z obecného problému vytvořit smysluplný scope, priority a realizovatelný plán. - Konzultantský přesah — umíš vést věcnou technickou diskuzi s bezpečnostním i infrastrukturním týmem zákazníka. - Umíš zadat práci, ohlídat kvalitu a dotáhnout projekt do konce. Nice to Have: - Hands-on zkušenost s XDR/NDR platformami (Palo Alto, SentinelOne, Fortinet, Greycortex). - Zkušenost s SIEM platformami (IBM QRadar, FortiSIEM, Splunk, Elastic, Microsoft Sentinel). - Zkušenost s SOAR nástroji a automatizací bezpečnostních workflow. - Znalost MITRE ATT&CK frameworku a principů detection engineering. - Předchozí zkušenost s vedením malého týmu nebo mentorováním kolegů. - Background v IT architektuře, síťové bezpečnosti nebo infrastrukturním poradenství.Role / Mission: Budeš dalším z expertního týmu Security Professional Services. Tvým úkolem bude převádět vysokoúrovňové požadavky zákazníků ("potřebujeme zlepšit detekci", "sjednotit bezpečnostní monitoring", "dostat větší kontrolu nad prostředím") do konkrétních technických zadání pro inženýry a následně hlídat kvalitu i reálný přínos dodávky. What This Role Is NOT: - Nejde o čistě inženýrskou roli — nebudeš trávit celý den konfigurací pravidel a administrací nástrojů. Na to je v týmu samostatná kapacita. - Nejde ani o klasický projektový management zaměřený na reporting, harmonogramy a resource planning. Klíčový je obsah, kvalita a směr delivery. - Role není postavená na auditu, compliance ani GRC agendě. Operating Model: Hybridní práce — kanceláře na Praze 4, 3 dny v kanceláři. Spolupráce na HPP nebo IČO dle preferencí. Žádná směnná práce, žádný on-call. Projekty mají normální pracovní režim. Reporting: Security Professional Services Lead. Kontakt: | linkedin.com/in/jirisoljak Výběrový proces probíhá přímo s vedením společnosti a Security Professional Services Leadem, takže získáte detailní představu o fungování týmu, projektech i technologickém stacku. První kolo je neformální technická debata — bez HR koleček a testů osobnosti. Zaujalo? This opportunity is open only to candidates based in the Czech Republic with valid EU work authorization and a registered EU freelance/business license (B2B). No visa sponsorship is available.

This is the global IT arm of one of the world's largest logistics companies — over 5,600 IT professionals across continents, keeping the technology backbone running behind a business that moves shipments through hundreds of countries. The Prague office is one of the group's key IT hubs, and along with locations in Malaysia, India, Germany and the Americas, it holds Great Place to Work certification. The philosophy here is simple: digitalisation should work quietly in the background. The messaging and middleware layer is exactly what keeps communication between hundreds of internal systems running — and this team is still growing.— Middleware background — hands-on IBM MQ experience, or a strong generic middleware background (JBoss, Apache, WebLogic/WebSphere) with willingness to grow into IBM MQ — Linux — RedHat experience in a production environment — Independence under pressure — ability to work independently and prioritise when handling incidents — English — advanced, spoken and written, for daily cross-region communication No IBM MQ experience yet? If the middleware fundamentals and Linux are solid, we still want to talk. Nice to Have: — Kafka — Windows Server, OpenShift — Basic Microsoft Azure — Experience with SFTP and related transfer processes — Experience escalating to vendors (IBM, Oracle, Red Hat)You're part of an expert team for the middleware and messaging layer — IBM MQ, Kafka, WebLogic, WebSphere Application Server, Tomcat, JBoss, Apache, IIS — plus the virtualisation and infrastructure layer underneath. You handle what didn't get fixed one level down: a stuck queue in IBM MQ, a crashed application server, a bug that needs escalating straight to the vendor. It's hands-on technical work with real impact — without you, communication between dozens of internal systems simply doesn't run. Key Responsibilities: — You diagnose and resolve non-trivial problems across middleware platforms — the stuff lower-level support couldn't crack — You get into the virtualisation and infrastructure layer underneath the applications, not just the middleware itself — You work with other IT teams on harder troubleshooting that goes beyond middleware — You escalate to vendors (IBM, Oracle, Red Hat) for bugs and security fixes, and you see it through to resolution — You pass on what you learn — you know where the next problem will show up, before it does What This Role Is NOT: — The Prague office is part of the deal — this isn't a remote role — On-call rotates between colleagues and only covers weekends — nobody's chasing you on weekdays Operating Model: Follow-the-sun team across Asia, Europe and the US, with on-call on a rotation, weekends only. Based in Prague, hybrid — 2 days on-site, 3 days home office per week, with flexible hours. English is the working language for cross-region collaboration. The team manager has the same technical background — started out as a middleware/Unix engineer, now runs the global messaging team.Interested? Apply or reach out — no CV needed, your LinkedIn and a few lines about your experience are enough. We reply to everyone within two business days. | linkedin.com/in/jirisoljak You'll speak directly with a senior IT recruiter with hands-on technical background — a relevant conversation, no HR fluff, no ghosting. Open only to candidates eligible to work in the EU without visa sponsorship, residing long-term in the Czech Republic, with proficiency in Czech or Slovak.
