Job description / Náplň práce
As Head of the SAP Competence Center, you will own and lead the entire SAP practice — combining strategic leadership, delivery excellence, and business-facing consulting.
Your responsibility extends across SAP roadmap planning, presales engagement, solution shaping, and capability development. You will ensure top-quality internal delivery while helping position SAP as a strong, competitive offering for clients.
Responsibilities
• Lead and develop the SAP Competence Center (consultants, developers, administrators).
• Define the SAP strategy and roadmap, including ECC → S/4HANA transition.
• Establish governance, licensing, quality, compliance, and release management standards.
• Oversee key SAP programs (rollouts, upgrades, migrations) and secure successful delivery.
• Collaborate with business units, IT, and international entities across Europe and Asia.
• Manage vendors, partners, SLAs, and budgets.
• Represent the SAP practice in front of clients and partners.
• Act as SAP presales lead — attend client meetings with sales teams.
• Translate business requirements into high-level SAP solution concepts and delivery approaches.
• Shape and own the SAP services portfolio (implementation, AMS/support, advisory, integration, modernization).
• Contribute to proposals, bids, and RFP/RFI processes.
• Drive innovation, continuous improvement, and continuous upskilling within the SAP team.

The SAP Competence Center provides clients with expertise and delivery capability across the following domains:
• Finance & Controlling (FI/CO) — Accounting, controlling, reporting, Universal Journal (S/4HANA Finance).
• Human Capital Management (HCM / HR) — Payroll, Time Management, ESS/MSS (Fiori), Adobe Forms/HRFORMS, workflows, SuccessFactors Employee Central.
• Materials Management (MM) — Procurement, inventory, logistics.
• Technology & Platform — SAP BTP, ABAP (debugging, small enhancements), system integration, reporting.
• User Experience & Processes — SAP Fiori applications, approvals, workflow automation.
