The team in Prague is responsible for key systems supporting card payment authorization. We are looking for a new expert to join and help maintain and further develop these critical systems.
Job description / Náplň práce
You will be part of a team responsible for the operation and development of the card payment authorization platform (acquiring side). A key focus will be supporting the migration authorization system to a new platform, including configuration, testing, and ensuring system integrations run smoothly.
You will be part of a team responsible for the operation and development of the card payment authorization platform (acquiring side). The role combines system operations, scripting, third-party integrations, and deployment support.
Managing and monitoring a real-time payment authorization system, ensuring high availability and operational stability
System monitoring, log analysis, and troubleshooting
Editing, managing, and transforming data and messages between systems and interfaces
Collaboration on system integrations with internal teams (development, analytics, testing) and external partners
Participation in DevOps activities: testing, release management, deployment, and CI/CD process optimization
Requirements / Požadavky
Experience with tools for task tracking and documentation (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Git)
Experience in running IT systems (ideally high-availability environments)
Scripting skills (PERL/Bash/Python)
SQL and database experience
Understanding of network communication and technical protocols
Ability to work with logs and identify system issues
English level B2 for reading documentation and communication
Familiarity with both Linux and Windows environments.
Experience with DevOps practices (CI/CD, monitoring, release management) is plus.
Nice to have / Great plus:
Knowledge of authorization and payment systems (e.g., BASE24 / ACI, PowerZac, Prime, OpenWay)
