Job description / Náplň práce

We’re looking for a data strategist with a strong grasp of data architecture, standards and governance, and stakeholder engagement.
* Define and evolve the company's data architecture in line with both business and technology strategy
* Design and manage data models, structures, and repositories to support analytics and BI
* Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance (e.g. GDPR)
* Oversee data integration from various internal and external sources, ensuring consistency and quality
* Develop and enforce data standards, policies, and governance frameworks
* Collaborate with IT, business analysts, and other teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions
* Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and methods for effective data management

Requirements / Požadavky

* 3+ years of experience in data architecture, data strategy, or a similar role
* Hands-on experience with designing data models and structuring data for analytics
* Solid understanding of data governance methodologies and best practices
* Strong SQL and database skills
* Familiarity with data platforms such as Oracle ADW, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, Databricks, etc.
* Experience with cloud environments (e.g. Oracle Cloud, Microsoft Azure) and tools such as Power BI, Power Automate is a plus (not required)
* Proven knowledge of data privacy and security frameworks (e.g. GDPR)
* Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
* Fluent Czech or Slovak (used daily across the organization)
